When it came time to put together a design for E.R. Eddison's The Worm Ouroboros, our vision for the cover included a tall, thin, modular typeface in a prominent place. However, upon exploring the options, we found that the kind of typeface we sought wasn't readily available (if it existed at all). So, not to be discouraged, we set about designing our own typeface for the design.
Since its initial design and use, Eddison has become an ongoing project with new weights and cases being developed constantly. While nothing has been finalised, we find ourselves tinkering with it regularly.
